About Me
My name is Mark Reynolds, and I am a registered Australian civil marriage celebrant. I am located in Yarrabilba and offer Wedding Ceremony services in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan and Scenic Rim and the Gold Coast. I am married to my beautiful wife, and we have 2 children together, plus I have a son from a previous relationship. Yes, I have been married 3 times, so I have the experience to be a celebrant.
In my younger years I was terrified at the thought of speaking in front of people so I never imagined I would be a celebrant. However, my love of music got me into singing karaoke to eventually running a karaoke business. From there I found community theatre and have performed in a number of musicals and plays.
I have also worked in IT since leaving high school, another profession not typically associated with having great people skills. 😊 But I have managed to overcome all of that to be comfortable in front of a crowd, I have also sung in front of 1000 people.
Couples and wedding guests often ask me why I became a marriage celebrant. I tell them that I have endured some long and dull wedding ceremonies. Looking around I could see that I wasn’t the only one itching for a beer. I decided I should do something about it, so I did the training, passed the exam and was admitted as a marriage celebrant in February 2017.
I am passionate about helping couples to create wedding ceremonies that their family and friends will remember long after their wedding day. It is my goal to create wedding ceremonies that are unique to every couple and to ensure each couple has the ceremony they have dreamed of regardless of their budget. Whether you are planning an elopement wedding or a grand event, I have wedding ceremony packages available to help create your “Wow!” moment.
Every couple I meet has an interesting story which has made for some memorable wedding ceremonies, some could easily be a plot for a Hollywood movie. I love listening to their stories and putting it all together. In addition, I am always looking for ways to add value to my wedding packages. Most recently, I have purchased a laser engraver that I am experimenting with to see what else I can offer the couple I marry to enhance their day.
Many celebrants say they go above and beyond, and I like to think I do too. I will do my best to accommodate the visions my couples have, and I have had some unusual requests. As you can see from the pictures, I have had a few requests for theme weddings, and I have more coming in the near future. I love being able to share in the joy of a couples wedding, I put my heart and soul into making sure they have the wedding of their dreams.
